After her conversion to Christ, she was baptized and joined the membership at Old Providence Chapel, Islington Green, where she remained until her death twenty-seven years later. Having lost her husband by a sudden illness, she assumed the full responsibility to train up her children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. She was the mother of five sons and five daughters, all of whom made a profession of faith and served the Lord in various capacities.
