{"id":1496,"count":1,"description":"Thomas Higham (?-1895) was a Strict and Particular Baptist preacher. In 1860, he was appointed pastor of the church which would later move to Avenue Chapel, College-street, Camden-town. He was one of three \u2018preacher boys\u2019 who served together under the gospel ministry of John Foreman, the other two being J. Curtis and R. Sears. In 1865, Mr. Highman submitted a letter to the editor of the \u201cVoice of Truth\u201d, laying out a case for an Association to be organized in London for the Strict Baptist churches.
