He served as parish curate in Tittleshall, Norfolk (1863\u20131866); Notting Hill, London (1866\u20131869); Leytonstone, London (1869\u20131870); Walthamstow, London (1870-1874); St. Stephen's (1874-1888). He was a descendent of the Swiss Reformer Heinrich Bullinger. At the age of 29, he was appointed clerical secretary of the Trinitarian Bible Society, a position he held until his death in 1913. Although he was a prolific writer, many of his works deserving a place in every gospel minister\u2019s library, he nurtured a number of strange views (\u201cultradispensationalism\u201d, Annihilationism, Gospel Constellationalism and Gospel Numerology). Nevertheless, he maintained firm views on sovereign grace and was a proponent of a young-earth-six-day-creation.\r\n","link":"https:\/\/www.baptists.net\/history\/category\/ethelbert-bullinger\/","name":"Ethelbert Bullinger","slug":"ethelbert-bullinger","taxonomy":"category","parent":0,"meta":[],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.baptists.net\/history\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories\/1789","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.baptists.net\/history\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.baptists.net\/history\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/category"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.baptists.net\/history\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts?categories=1789"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
