{"id":1898,"count":1,"description":"William Collins (?-1702) was a Particular Baptist preacher. In 1673 he was appointed co-pastor (alongside Nehemiah Coxe) of the Petty France church meeting in London, serving the office for 29 years. Both men are credited with drafting the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. In 1693, the General Assembly appointed Collins to draw up a Catechism, which is sometimes called \u201cKeach\u2019s Catechism\u201d.
