Bennett, On Completing Her 60<sup>th<\/sup> Year, Eight Months Before Her Decease<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another milestone has to me been given,<\/p>\n<p>Another landmark on the way to heaven,<\/p>\n<p>Now sixty have been numbered one by one<\/p>\n<p>Swiftly and silently I travel on;<\/p>\n<p>Why should my life so full of mercy be?<\/p>\n<p>Why has God given so good a lot to me?<\/p>\n<p>When sins oppressed my young and anxious mind,<\/p>\n<p>He turned my eyes to Jesus, made me find<\/p>\n<p>In Him my Saviour and my endless peace:<\/p>\n<p>And said to me that, when life here should cease,<\/p>\n<p>I should be with Him in the realms of bliss;<\/p>\n<p>Should know and love, and see Him as He is,<\/p>\n<p>All the long years of pain or grief or strife,<\/p>\n<p>This knowledge has made music in my life;<\/p>\n<p>And shall I now begin to tell of sorrows past?<\/p>\n<p>No!
