He was not a fan of systematic theologies, believing it is better for a Christian to approach doctrine as a florist in admiration of his flower displays, rather than that of a botanist dissecting and classifying their structures. It was in this way Fuller was able to avoid the construction of his own systematic theology, allowing him to leave open ended the self-contradictory teachings that are scattered throughout his writings. Nevertheless, it is possible to do with Fuller\u2019s writings what he refused to do for himself\u2014arrange his teachings into a body of divinity. At the heart of what has become known as Fullerism, is the theological framework of Moderate-Calvinism.
