Potter Eternal O merciful and bright

Favoured Thine vessel Of silver and gold

Specially chosen Above earthly wood.

Perfect Eternal All powerful and might

Not of mine own hands Nor vain hollow words

Specially chosen Beyond ages past.

3 O my True Sovereign Great Father of Lights

Pure and Unchangeable Thou my delight

Born of the Spirit Remade in Thy Word

Specially chosen By Thine own decree.

4 O my True Sovereign Great Father of Lights

Power Ineffable  Righteous and right

Jesu mine own Lord Redeemer by blood

Specially chosen True subject of love.

5 O my True Sovereign Great Father of Lights

Patiently Loving True justice and might

Not of this world A pilgrim am I

Specially chosen Mine burden is light.
