William Waite

William Waite (1840-?) was a Strict and Particular Baptist preacher. In 1884, he was appointed pastor of Jireh Chapel, City Road. He the removed to serve as pastor for Rehoboth Chapel, Stepney. After several years of non-pastoral work, he was appointed pastor of Rehoboth, Bedford-road, Clapham (1896).

    Dear Brother,—At your request, I will try and pen a few particulars of my life, and the Lord's gracious dealings with me, in calling me by grace, and to the ministry. I was born on the 29th of October, 1840, of Christian parents, at Bradford-On-Avon, and was early taken to the house of God.
