Your Redemption Draweth Nigh
Whenever believers speak together it is easy for us to decry the current state of the world. We lament the passing of what we imagine to be lost times and better days for the church. Most of us would say there is little on the horizon to make us think much improvement in morals or increase in spiritual interest is likely soon. Nevertheless, we should not be discouraged; God is still on His throne!

Them Which Shall Believe
It is the highest wonder known to man that the infinite God should condescend to join Himself to our humanity and take our nature into Himself. Five times in these few verses the Lord Jesus speaks of the oneness and union that exists between Him and His people under the terms of the covenant of grace. Here the Lord is telling us, in this High-priestly prayer, that all who have faith in Christ are united with Him and with His Father. We are loved by the Father with the self-same love as the Father loves the Son.

John Berridge And The Duty Faith Issue
A valued friend in Sussex, and a reader of “Waymarks,” when writing to us a brief while ago, very modestly made the suggestion that we might consider the last sermon of John Berridge adapted to the pages of our little Magazine. Not having this sermon in our possession, we wrote asking our friend for the loan of his copy. In sending on the sermon, he says: “It occurred to me it might prove, by God’s grace, a blessing to readers of ‘Waymarks,’ and for that reason I have sent it to you.”
